Walking on water
Gonna miss these two! For the last couple of years these two ducks have been coming by swimming in the pool making their mess on the pool deck and not in the pool. Thankfully they don’t swim when we do. Yesterday I was feeling a bit better and I was doing some yard work and they came by and wanted to go swimming but couldn’t since the pool cover was on but it was funny to see them walking on the pool cover and trying to find the areas that have little water pockets..
I hope I feel better on Tuesday, as I’m going to be looking at 7 places. Moving to a new town is gonna have its ups and downs. But from what I’ve noticed from googling around, a few gyms and some interesting restaurants that I’m wanting to try, gotta try everywhere at least once before I make up my mind Though I’m still about an hour to get to where I’ve been practicing for the last 14 years but there is a paddling center closer to were I’m moving to so maybe I’ll switch over to there next season but we’ll see..

On Friday I finally found the ring I’ve been looking for the last while. I know it, doesn’t match either mine or my lil ones bith stones as they didn’t any of my stones in that size and their ruby’s looked like red glass. So I went with the way the the band looked.. a nice simple wave and it’s something that I can give to her that doesn’t look to cheap when she’s 16. Just like the ring I got from my mom when I was 16. I got 16 years to decide if I want to leave in the pink tourmaline gems or change them to ruby. Time will tell. Out of all the rings I own this is the most girly one I own.

aw, cpoor duckies! lol
ring looks nice from the teeny picture. I never got any of my mom’s jewelry
she has this opal ring that I loved when I was a kid. We were talking about it a couple weeks ago and I looked at it and said, “huh, I remember it being a lot bigger” lol.

That ring is very lovely. I’m sure your daughter will love to have it when she’s older. I think it’s more the gesture of giving her something that means a lot to you, rather than what you’re giving. Does that make sense? *lol*

Aww poor ducks. They’re so cute. We have goose who live near here and they love to wake me up by flying over the house at the crack of dawn hah. I never got any jewelry from my mother. She never wears jewelry so it’s nice of you to give your daughter a ring and to go through so much trouble for her. I think she’ll really appreciate it.

those ducks are so cute. sounds like you guys have some new family members until they fly south for the winter.
At 16 i got my daughter’s pride ring and I loved it! Where I live it’s tradition to receive your Daughter’s pride on your 16th birthday and since my B-day was the last of all my friends (at the end of the year in November) I was the last to get mine but I was sooo happy. It doesn’t fit anymore lol but i still have it in my jewelry box. I think your daughter will love the ring you picked for her. Is it a daughter’s pride?
