Oi, to the annoying baby fat
I may be nuts for joining a sport conditioning gym 4 days a week, a month before I move to a few towns over [I wish I found them months ago]. But finding a gym like this is really hard to find. For one they know what my sport is, which means I don’t have to teach the trainer my sport , they (the owners) know everyone by name. Each workout session you are sweating away like there is no tomorrow. The workouts in themselves aren’t that hard, but they are challenging. Crazy as it sounds, I wanna have the 6 pack abs that I use to have, back! I’m hoping by the end of the summer I should have gotten rid of all the baby fat and gain a sweet 6 pack. It would be so nice to be able to walk around in a bikini again and not feel so gross because of the baby fat that hasn’t gone away yet.
I was going to wait until I moved before I truly switched gyms but once I head some other paddlers talking about this gym and reading their website I got hooked. Its gonna suck driving back into town just to go to the gym BUT I’ll make it work. Plus with my old gym nothing was working for me anymore I mean the people were just bleh and the workouts were the same every time, so I wasn’t gaining muscle or lost fat UGH!.
Since my last nasty break up, I’ve cut down on my cell usage a lot and I’m really happy about the money, I’ve saved by doing so. You could say I went back to using the cell for emergency’s uses only since I barely call out on it and barely getting called on, and once and a while I’ll text. I use my computer to do the rest of the stuff [read/write emails, update my status via twitter , facebook, myspace and chat] why fork out more money, when you can do stuff on the computer for cheaper? So I guess exes are good for something… lol…
But the sad part is the money, that I’ve been saving is going straight into my budget for paying for gas . Heck, I would take the public transit but until they build a better transit system that will get me to point A to B in less then 2 hours, I’d be happier. Until then my gas budget keeps on getting bigger and bigger. Which stinks as I’ll be stuck driving all over this summer since I recently got more freelance coaching gigs [YAY more income] and working at my real job [thankfully I don’t have to drive for that] but Oi!

I hear you on teh budget thing. Gas is getting more expensive so you’d THINK public transit is the next logical choice. Nope, they have to pay for gas too, and with ticket price increases, we’re all shit out of luck. *sigh*

Thanks
Hey, I give you credit for what you do. Me… well, I don’t do much physical stuff other than cleaning the house and playing with my kids. Sometimes, that alone wears me out! Sad, too. I’m getting old.. I need to change my physical level (or lack thereof) before I just.. melt into fatness. Heh.

Good for you! I really need to start working out soon, or I’m gonna become a fatty!

That is one of the things I hate about living in Canada is that the public transportation is no where near the same level as other countries. We need to have trains running all day, and yet even in Toronto they only run three times in the morning and three times at night for the most part. It is just stupid :P It takes me 20 minutes to drive to my school, and yet over an hour on the bus. Lol. If parking wasn’t so expensive at my school I would totally be driving everyday instead :P

Just be glad you have the motivation to go to the gym!
I’ve got a treadmill that does a better job of drying clothes, than it does motivate me to get on it =P
It’s hard to lose baby weight, but if you’re active in sports, and work out, you’ll drop it in no time
btw, I’ve never heard of that sport, I’ll have to look it up!
