Thank you Meredith , for reminding me its just 3 months until Ol’ Hallow’s Eve, (err Halloween is 3 months and a day away. lol). For those who know me Halloween is like my Christmas. I’m not into horror movies but I just that you can dress up and be anyone you wanna be and free candy is always good.

I do the whole haunted front yard/house, dress up giving out candy etc. I just found out the other day that this street normally gets between 1oo-2oo kids trick or treating, that’s a lot as in the past I’d had maybe 3o kids for the last 7 or so years. Since we are new to the street, my haunted yard/house gotta be amazing this year. I’ve been looking online at some of those Halloween prop stores but I don’t really want something to freaky but then again I’m not into those very happy Halloween props either. As you don’t want to scary the lil trick or treaters but you don’t wanna bore the older crowd. If I can remember anything from my grade 8 tech class, I might make my own animated coffin door that opens and closes. Hmm.

For those who follow me via twitter, know most of the bs that I’ve been having to deal with since this move. The old owners only passed on 1 key that unlocks every door in the house and one mailbox key. I just don’t get how can a family of 6 live on 1 key for 8 years. Yesterday was a busy day of errands and I went around and changed all the locks, contacted Canada Post to see whats the scoop on the 1 mailbox key. Still don’t have cable in the room I want it in BUT I can watch tv in the kitchen for now.

The move went alright, like all moves do. Nothing really to complain about, other then a friend of mine, packed a corner that I left a huge note saying “put into car, do no pack”. Well the cats litter scooper, the birds food, the garbage bags along with the laundry soap and the master list of whats in each box is somewhere in my living room and so far I haven’t been able to spot the box with them in it . Only thing I really need asap where the bird food and a new scooper. so just went out purchased those two items for the meanwhile, getting away from the boxes of crazyness works for a couple minutes, plus getting to see the area is always a nice bonus.

Since I’ve moved in, I’ve been without cable tv and a working phone line (as of tomorrow [Wednesday] it be 5 days) . So hopefully both those problems will be solved this week. As who wants to be unpacking 24/7. I need to veg and being on the computer isn’t helping. And yet I really want to get some work done but, I’m feeling up to it. If tomorrow’s weather is as good as it was today, I might walk to the video store and pick up some dvd’s to watch, so I can veg a little bit more.
