September Blues
September is here in full swing which means children aren’t out late after dinner playing street hockey or playing hide and seek with friends until it’s dark. Autumn is just around the corner, with homeowners like myself getting the last minute yardwork done before we have to wait until Spring. 
This weekend is my teams last festival of the 2oo8 season 
. It’s sad to know that the season is almost over. But at the same time, I’m looking forward to being able to sleep in on Saturday mornings instead of being at the creek at 9AM. I normally do get a paddling withdrawal which sucks. When I was preggers it sucked even more. But once I was able to paddle again after giving birth I was back into the boat paddling like I hadn’t stopped.

Move to Florida and you can do yard work and paddle all year long! Of course, I would be too afraid to paddle here because of gators!
