Heirlooms

Earlier tonight, when I was making dinner for my mom and I. I caught myself mentioning could you pass me grammy’s stool. It’s been over two years since my both of my mom’s parents passed away and yet I still call all the heirlooms that I got from them theirs.

Bleh, I know it will take time before I can mentally thing those items are mine.

I do the same thing and I probably always will. Also, I call my grandmother Grammy, too.
