We had our first cat for 13 years, but we had to have him put down 2 years ago at Halloween. If only pets lived a bit longer as they are part of the family. It feels like you have to play God a little. I recently had to have my guinea pig put to sleep because she couldn't eat properly anymore (throat tumor) and was slowly starving to death. So sad. But I hope your kitty gets to enjoy many more years of old age! He's still looking good, that's for sure. Having to decide whether a pet still has enough quality of life left, I hate that.
