the latest net drama

No, I am not talking about some online version of a cat fight between two and or more parties. But the latest online annoyance by a person or persons who have nothing better to do but hit up sites randomly and comment on number of entries with a fake 1st name and a surname, fake email addresses with nonsense wording on the commenting section. :ugh: within a 12 hour period.

After been spammed the person the first 2 times, I was like okay, by the 9th time within a few hours. :ugh: I started thinking something was fishy. But no where on either of my counters, had the person(s) ip addressed listed, so tracking that way was out of the question. After the 9th time, I declared war and I won by blocking their 4 different ip addresses they been using. The person have attempted a few times since, but has had no luck.

When I was surfing Google, I noticed there was at least 3 pages full about other people been targeted and blogged about it. To learn more please read wp’s own forum.

My questions are now?
1. Is this a testing ground for something more massive? :help:
2. Was this an an one day thing? Cause I haven’t heard|read anything new about this person(s) spamming other sites.

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Lt.-Col. John McCrae [May 1915]

This is the 1st year, I am not attending my city’s remembrance day ceremony. I really want to go but I caught the cold bug that’s been going around, so instead I’m just gonna watch the watch the local tv coverage, and just stay under the covers all day.

I have never been a fan of war, but I support the men and women who put their lives on the line for us every day.
