Snow just go away!!!

I just want this snow to be over and done with for another year or 20. Sure it’s pretty, but the region of the province I live in isn’t use to this much snow (or a few flakes either for that matter). I say this as I hope it snows on my birthday like it use to back in the 80′s. lol. [by then I hope it leaves again within 72 hours]
I swear people here need to learn when it snow:
- Park you cars on your driveways instead of the road as this will allow cars to use both sides of the street this allows plow trucks to clean our streets
- When you shovel the snow off your driveway do the sideways as well and don’t shovel it onto the road. (your lawn works well).
- If you park on the driveway your car will not be needing to be fixed with all the dents in it from cars that lost control and slide into you. I’ve lost count on how many cars that are totaled just in my walk to/from work.
- If you live near a sewer grate clean a path to it, I don’t give a rats ass if it’s the City’s job or not to clean them but then again it’s your house on the line. Then again, you don’t know if and when any City workers are gonna come by to clear the path before its to late.
- If you don’t need to leave the house then don’t!
// end of rant!

Hi There! Welcome to Paddling-Geek.Net (PGN for short).

Ditto on the last one. Too bad school’s started again -sigh- I wish it’d go away… Snow was nice on Christmas, and after that it just got old!
I’m more of a winter person. When you are freezing you put on more clothes. But when you have to sweat, there is a limit to what you can take of, right?
Edit by me: I LOVE winter and the snow, I use to camp in snow all the time.. I want spring to happen as I start my training this weekend! and paddling in this temp/weather is not healthy for you at all.
omg thank u! that is so true! i hate winter.. sigh*
I agree with you. Every single rant… WHEN IS SUMMER GOING TO BE HERE…
You can’t forget shovel your sidewalk that is infront and around your property (renters and owners) As it is a city bylaw in many areas and you can be ticketed for not doing so before 10am!
I am surprised that when I look around it is the older generations (our parents and grandparents age) shovelling the sidewalks yet the able bodies and younger and stronger generations do squat to their driveways, and sidewalks making it dangerous for anyone to travel across…… gurr!!!!!
It only took me three weeks to realize that people should just phone their city hall and put in a complaint about their neighbours who don’t shovel their walks, or do their part. Then perhaps getting a ticket could put the lazy asses in gear.
