St. Patrick's day passed this year and I didn't even know about it! I remember hearing it everywhere though (eg. on news, radio) but I just kinda brushed it off and then the next day I was like.. WTH St. Patrick's day was yesterday?! No St. Patrick’s Day on this side of the pond, unfortunately. My forefathers were not adventurous enough to hop on a boat to an unknown side of the world.

Queen’s bday is coming up though, which is celebrated in much the same way: with lots and lots of boooooooze!

My St. Patrick’s Day started off poorly, but it evolved into a nice evening with friends (although I did leave by 10 as I had to be up early)

I hope yours was as great as it sounded (despite the mushy peas… I personally HATE those)

I’m Irish but I’m also a Witch. I no longer celebrate St. Patty’s day because in reality you are celebrating a dude from Scotland who ‘drove the serpents to the sea’ serpent is another name for Pagan or Witch the climate isn’t right for snakes never has been. So in reality I’m celebrating my people getting killed for what they believe in? Not so much. I’m not celebrating a mass murder and a religious one at that.
