C4AC#2 – Sliced and Diced
It doesn’t seem like its Day 3 of Comment for a Cause at all, with being suck in the hospital from Sunday to Thursday for emergency gal bladder removal (thank god for auto scheduling posts). I wanna say thanks to Aidan who step up to the plate and was approving comments for me when I was still in the hospital.
I guess, I should start listening to my body then putting other people first like I have always have. My body finally got my attention by sending me to the hospital 3:30AM Sunday morning. I should have had the surgery on Tuesday been home Wednesday but thanks to 2 people who had to get shoot and put the hospital into lock down mode I got bumped until Wednesday.
The doctor told me that I can’t do anything or lift more then 5 pounds for 3-6 weeks. Which means I’ve been dry docked/benched from paddling until the doctor okays it. I can already tell you I’m going stir crazy until I’m back on the water.
I couldn’t believe on how many teenagers were being accompanied by the cops when I was in the hospital. I could see it more on a weekend but mid week? The joys of living in the city.

Hi, the name is Kimm, I'm a 30 year old Canadian who has been online since 1999. For the last 16 years my main passion has been dragon boating where I've eaten, slept and breathed it and raced all over North America.

OMG… I hope you feel better. Having had Gall Stone attacks, I KNOW the pain. Yikes.
Thanks for such an awesome cause! Best of luck!

Wow – you must have been in some serious pain! My Mom had her Gall Bladder removed a few years back, but it was a scheduled “it’s gotta be done” type of thing, as opposed to “it’s kind of an emergency let’s get ‘er done quick” kinda thing.
Anything I can do to help?

Aww about the gall bladder. But yay for auto-scheduled posts. I’ve done that a few times, it’s very helpful.
Much hugs for feeling better.

I`m glad that your on your way to recovery. If there is anything else I can do, be sure to let me know!

Hmm, obviously I didn’t do something right. I’m @GlendaWH on Twitter, not @show. Nothing like making a mistake publicly. But, it does give you one more comment for a cause!
Edit: I noticed that for the last few days as well, didn’t want to remove the plugin just yet just in case it was gonna get fixed but since it doesn’t look like its gonna happen anytime soon. I just removed that plugin

Glad it went okay. Take it easy! You’ll be back to paddling soon. I was like that after I had my baby – wanted to go back to Jazercise 2 weeks later but stuck it out for the full recommended 4 weeks!!
