C4AC #2 -Good Friday or was it?

For most today marked the start of a long weekend and with that being stuck in ferry or border line ups for over 5+ hours is not the way I’d like to start off the long weekend anymore. These days now I’d rather just stay at home instead of just being stressed out on the traffic. You can always tell a long weekend is here when the prices for gas has risen to a buck per litre.
It was a good Friday for me, today marked a week since I came home from the hospital. A day where I spend most of the day with my Mom driving around town looking at nursery stores getting ideas for her garden. (Now only if the weather would let us be able to plant stuff.) 
It was also a way to see how well I could handle being in a car for a long period of time. I have to head into town tomorrow afternoon and I’d like to be able to drive an hour (on the highway) without any pain, and even to my teams practice even if I can’t jump into the boat right now and practice but having small goals every few days is only way I’ve been able to keep myself from going crazy and bored.

We spent the day down at Pebbles Beach here in Sechelt enjoying the sun. Once it started to cloud over, headed over to the Lighthouse Pub for some chow, and then to the Daily Roast for some joe. Hmm.. my goings on when we come up here are kind of predictable me thinks.

My friday consisted of mean trying to avoid doing school work. I need to stop doing that. I’m becoming the world’s worst procrastinator.

By the end of my Friday I was ready to kill anyone who came near me. I spent the day yelling at high school kids who were supposed to be helping me at work but sat on their phones texting. Because of this I had to clean egg dye and broken eggs that they were supposed to be watching and helping the kids with to avoid it all together!
