C4AC #2 – The Gamer in Me
I may have grew up playing the King Quest Series and the original Oregon Trail on the computer but I never saw myself as a gamer like everyone else I knew who got hooked on the gamer bug. I’d rather be outside playing then indoors wasting hours in front of the computer or tv screen playing video games.
Two years ago for Christmas, I was given a Nintendo DS lite by my little brother (who works in the gaming field) as something for me to do when I’m stuck at the airports or to play whenever. With the 7 games I personally own, I’ve completed Mario Kart (twice), The Legends of Zelda : Phantom Hourglass, M&M’s Break’em (it was on sale) and Shrek’s Smash n’ Crash Racing (it was also on sale) since I’ve been sidelined. 
Way to much gaming for my own good I think.
Personally, I can not wait until I’m able to work out again, head to practice and be the normal active Kimm again like I once was. I’d be gladly hide the DS and its games in a closet until my next trip down south to visit some friends.

I love the Nintendo DS! I don’t own one, but my sister does. Personally, I love Pokemon, only because it’s fun and it takes a loooooong time to finish it so it’s good for really long road trips and plane trips as well.

My favorite games are Silent Hills games! I don’t really have a favorite console though… just depends on what I feel like playing. I like the DS because it’s compact and I just keep it in my purse but I haven’t touched mine in soo long.

I own the Playstation 2 and the Xbox360 Elite. I guess you could count the Nintendo DS, too.

I am a sucker for RPGs. Anything from Zelda to MMORPGs like World of Warcraft and Warhammer Online and I’ll give it a try.
Do you find yourself playing video games way to much?
Oh yes. It’s what I do with almost all of my free time.

King’s Quest though… YES… I grew up playing that. Played every single one. So good. Same with Curse of Monkey Island.

The DS lite is simply awesome. I think that was the best gift I got Jeremy, along with the R4 card to go with it. He loves playing it. THere is no way that I’ll be getting the DSi or whatever it is, the one with the camera and no GBA slot. Feh.
Growing up Oregon Trail was the best for class. Our teacher used it as an incentive to get us to work faster so we could play it.

Do you find yourself playing video games way to much? No, I find myself on the computer too much!
Umm.. my favourite? I dunno… but I have me a PS, PS2, PS3, XBOX, GameCube, NDS, and Wii all in front of me. Is that a sign of addiction? Heck.. if you count that I have WoW on the PC in the bedroom, maybe it does. Crazy stuff.
