Uber Busy

It’s been a busy last few days since I got back from my trip to Indianapolis (for thanksgiving dinner). If I wasn’t going to the gym or at holiday parties, I’ve been trying to tackle my clubs website and redesign it from scratch, since the old layout version is not user-friendly. I wanted it to be up and running by the 27th but just got told to hold off since we are changing the domain name and they aren’t sure what they want on the website. UGH. So I’m taking a break from that stress and thought I should update on here.
I’m looking forward to christmas, having christmas morning on my mom’s side of the house (I just have to walk upstairs) and the whole family clan will be there. Our huge family dinner isn’t until Boxing Day at my Aunts and my Mom and brother and I are going to another family dinner on the 27th. So dinner on Christmas day isn’t gonna be huge deal this year since its just the three of us. Though I’m thinking of cooking something on the bbq. How trying to think what to cook is gonna be the hard part.

I’m going less traditional this year and will be making lasagna instead of the normal turkey or ham. It’s just going to be Jeremy and I, I believe (depends on if he wants to go to my Dad’s or not.) so it’s not like I have any picky eaters.
Since you want to BBQ you could go for kabobs or steaks, which makes me want to go to Canada.
Wonderful that your Mom stays so close to you! Hope you have a wonderful time this Christmas. Am looking forward to my vacation with my parents and sister as well !
Yippeeeee.. The very thought of holidays cheers me up!
Have fun..
Here from Netchick’s.
I’ve been busy too. Seems like December has just been a crazy month for everyone! I’m glad that your family is so closeby. It’s nice to just have to go upstairs. You’re lucky. Some people have to travel very far for the holidays. I hope you figure out what to cook.
How about grilling some Mediterranean style vegetables on the grill along with some tandoori chicken?
I need to get to the gym! Argh you are right, December is crazy.
Happy Holidays Kimm, I hope you have a good one!
I think everyone’s been pretty busy lately… It’s just that time of year =/ At least I’m no longer madly studying and cramming information into my head!
Chicken’s always a nice choice for Christmas-y dinners, it feels a moderate amount of people (then again, no sure how many people you’ll be entertaining for your big family dinner). I find that turkey’s a pain to prepare, lol. I’m a fan of it, but I’m so particular with it that after helping making it once, I never tried to cook one again. If it was my choice, I’d be doing burgers and french fries… but I’ve been having a junk food craving lately. =)
greetings… i stumbled in here from Tanya’s site (net chick) you weren’t next but i thought i would visit anyways
dragon boats are awesome… have you ever come out to the race in Portland Oregon? it’s lots of fun to watch, and i am so impressed with the folks who do the rowing.
have a great new year.
