Question of the Day: Time Travel to the past

If you could go back in time, would you? Which Year and Why?
My answer would be, yes just to what Canada was like when it was first starting to be settled.
Facebook answers (sorry no image this time)
- 2000 years … to meeting Jesus
- I think it would depend on if everything would turn out the same still or not. There are things I’d like to change but still have the same ending result of where I am not.
- Back time in my lifetime would be working harder at university, any time in life…I’d have to think about that but probably Europe in relatively modern times.
- 1980 I GUESS just so I could figure out what happened to me as a baby and how I got my scars in Guatemala. But if I go in this time machine I can be an adult right?!

Hi There! Welcome to Paddling-Geek.Net (PGN for short).

I don’t think so. It sounds dangerous. If you changed anything you might either destroy the universe or best case scenario, wind up in an alternate dimension. I’d like to see the future though.
To see Canada when it was first being settled would be interesting however, I really don’t think I’d travel in time (backwards or forward) if given the opportunity for the sole reason that I am clumsy and would probably mess something up.
I would definitely travel back in time! I love the idea of time travel.
Where to, though? As egotistical as this sounds, probably to when I was 15. I would’ve done so many different things with my life than I’m doing now.
Oh my, I would like to go to the 20′s! But be gone before 1929. I would like to go to NEw York, I think that would be so much fun!
