Four Years

This month marks four years since both of my grandfolks passed away. My gramps passed away on the 3rd and 17 days later my grams passed away. They were married for 65 and a half years and guess you could say they couldn’t live without each other.
The picture was from my grams funeral, each candle resembled the family (the two of them, their 3 kids and the 8 grandchildren). The daffodils are from the garden where my cousins 1st child (who died at birth) ashes were scattered. He was the 1st great grandchild.
It’s weird but everyone thinks my boo looks soooo much like my grams.
I guess you can say I’m lucky I got a chance to know both sets of grandparents as an adult. Back in 2003 is when I lost my 1st grandparent now just my dad’s mom left. The joys of getting old!

Hi There! Welcome to Paddling-Geek.Net (PGN for short).

I’m sorry about the loss of your grandparents. To be completely honest, that’s how I’d like to go. After a lifetime with Andrew, I don’t want to be alone, I’d rather we went together. Those daffodils are beautiful, that’s such a lovely way to honor her.
I’m sorry about your grandparents. I really like the idea of the wreath.
