Comment for a Cause (C4AC) is back for it’s 4th year. C4AC is my way to raises funds & awareness. This year I’ve picked BC Children’s Hospital as my charity of choice. Each comment this site gets equals $1 that I will be donating at the end of the month.. Don’t forget to keep up to date by subscribing to my rss feed
I hate those days were you have a love/hate relationship with your hair.. Where you’d love to just shave it all off but you know you can’t just yet..
Ever since I was a teen I’ve always wanted to grow out my hair and donate it to a kid’s wig charity, but of course you can’t have any coloured hair so my early 20′s I did the wild and fun colours as much as I could because before my friends wedding in 2005 because I know after I’d be growing out my hair and not dye it even if I wanted to as I really wanted to get this off my bucket list.
Sure I could have donated my hair ages ago but I wanted to grow it out enough so that I had the choice if I wanted to shave my head or have chin length hair.
Originally thought I would be donating my hair sometime in June but might be bumping it up to next month or next week as this mid back length is getting kind of annoying. Not sure how people with hair down pass their butts can handle it..
Thank you to everyone who has helped so far in this years Comment for a Cause… Every comment does help

I couldn’t do that. My hair was long, but it was never that long and it still drove me nuts. Actually, it’s too long now, I need another haircut. I loved my last one. Shorter hair is so much easier to manage.
It’s true that a lot of people have blogs and stuff, but it shouldn’t discourage you from having one. It’s still unique in a sense because I honestly don’t know anybody in my offline life that has a blog. :X Maybe they have a Tumblr, but they don’t have their own domain like you and I. I often wonder about that as well… I wonder if there was someone in my school who was into web designing like me? With a student body of almost 2,000, I wouldn’t be surprised.
This is a pretty neat thing you’re doing! I understand what you mean about your hair though. I’ve had it cut short and I’ve had it long but when it comes down to it, I much prefer it long. I can do more things with it. When it’s short, it’s just a mess. :X I probably should get a trim soon though because I have a bit of split ends…
The only trouble I have with my hair these days is the fact that it doesn’t really want to stay on top of my head – hence why I prefer to keep it short. I have accepted the fact that the hairline is given up the fight and is receding.
Oh let me know when you take the plunge, I had a number 2 when I was about fifteen. I love saying I’ve done it but not sure I could do it again.
