C4AC #2 – A slient celebration

I’ve always been a fan history, just looking back at the pictures of the late 1800′s early 1900 of people settling into a new area. What must have it been like to see say a city like Vancouver when it wasn’t even a town yet. The city of Vancouver just turned 123 years old this week yet I didn’t see or hear anything been talked about.

Sure the 2010 Olympics is just around the corner but it doesn’t mean that everything on the news these days gotta be Olympics this and gang war that. I wonder what gonna happen in two years when the city turns 125 years old.

C4AC #2 – Just suck it up, Princess!!

I had planned to be posted tonight but auto post didn’t wanna work so I’ve decided to use that post for another night.

Since I was sliced and diced last week. I’ve become very bored being stuck at home, if I lived in the city I’d be out on the balcony and just people watch but living in the middle of nowhere ‘burbs its hard to do that.

Not sure if I do have a high pain tolerances but compared to the 3 other people in my family who also had their gall bladders removed (gotta love family genes …. NOT!) they would be complaining about how much everything hurts and here I am walking at a normal pace and upright since the day I left the hospital. There is pain and then there is pain! Sure, it hurts like hell but nothing is as say a C – Section or any type of open surgery. I guess having nasty month cramps paid off for something. LOL.

Today has been one of those days where I didn’t wanna do anything but sleep and wish that my hip wasn’t out of joint, its been like that since the hospital. I hope tomorrow will be a better day.
