Comment for a Cause (c4ac) has raised $186 towards the MS Society. That’s $107 more then last years.
I have a handful of posts (in draft format) that I would love to publish right now for Comment for a Cause but they might wait for later date or the next time I decide to do another comment for a cause. Personally I don’t know how some people can blog daily and or more then once a day?
I’m already thinking up which charities to pick for next year.. If you have any ideas please let me know
Since next year will be year 3 of Comment for a Cause, I’ve been playing around with some ideas on how to make it bigger and better, like maybe inviting 1 or 2 guest bloggers to help out.
There were some folks, who didn’t understand and or got confused with this whole Comment for a Cause event; Which I was kind of surprised about so now I have to make so a 3 year old can understand the rules
so now there will be a mini blurb about c4ac (per post). Because of those folks now, I’m debating on doing Comment for a Cause for 1 entry or update daily for half the month or keep it for the whole month. I got until March of next year to play around with this. Bleh!
Thank you for helping me donate to a great cause. Let’s hope we can find a cure.
The top supporters for this year Comment for a Cause were:
Chris with 27 comments ~ wins the free [for a year] domain from Bluefur.Com
Dez with 25 comments ~ wins the free hosting [for a year] from Sugar-Devil.Com
Caity with 21 comments ~ wins the sock monkey that’s made by a local non profit company.
My question is to you, would you be interesting in doing your own Comment for a Cause or helping out with mine?
Comment for a Cause will be back in full swing in April 2010.

Comments for a Cause is back on for another full swing. Starting today for the whole month each comment will equal $1 at the end of the month I will be donating the dollar amount to the MS Society. Last year the 1st year Comments for a Cause ran for 13 days and in the end I donated $79 dollars to the Canadian Cancer Society. Which wasn’t bad for the 1st year. This year my max amount will have to be $250 (rest of the money is going towards nationals).
Comments for a Cause came about last October as I wanted to donate money to my local Cancer Society but I wasn’t sure how much to donate so I got Paddling~Geek.Net readers to help out by challenging myself to post daily and them to comment per post. At the end of last years I thought why not try and do two Comments for a Cause events since I donate to two charity’s.
So lets see if I’m up to the challenge again to post daily for 30 days without fail and lets see if we can beat the $79 mark before the 13th day.
If your interested in staying in the loop please subscribe to my rss feed. Just in case you missed the mentioning of a new post on twitter or one of the many forums that I’m on
