First off, I would like to say congrats to Cindy of oh-aspiration.org who won the contest.

Its been one of those days where, your just going non stop. Got a lot more packing done (yay) as I’m moving on the 19th, I still got 2 rooms to sort and pack. Though I’m narked at a friend who was expose to be over this afternoon to pick up my home gym, some clothing, and furniture she wants for herself and her two kids, never called to say they aren’t coming. So hopefully they will come by tomorrow or the home gym is going on craiglist for $$$ and the clothes and furniture are going to a thrift store on Monday as I want it out of here and I’m just tired of them coming over BUT not taking stuff home with them each visit. Or I might just drop the bag of clothes at their doorstep in the middle of the night.. LOL.

My Canada Day was great, walked down to see my small towns celebrations. Saw some people I went to school with. We just can’t believe that our 1o year reunion is coming up. :zoned: Other then that just did a small get together with the family.

On Sunday there was a regatta (err race) for all the schools that signed up for the paddling program last month. Couldn’t have asked for a better day, it only rained the night before and the sun was fully out and about for the kids. I joined in for the adult/parent race just for the hell of it . It felt so weird to be doing a 150 meter race as I’m use to 250, 500, 1000, 2000 meter races. 150 meter race to me is a start and then a few strokes and then a finish. But for the kids and the parents who’ve never paddled before that short race course works

Last week, I was in a cleaning mood like there was no tomorrow, since I was packing I decided to clean out my msgers and I had 195 people added to my msgers and now I have 1o or so and boy does it look lonely and empty lol.. Off topic…I never thought I’d join twitter, since I did and your not on my facebook or myspace account join it lol..

After talking to Kate (inapuddle.com) I came up with the perfect contest idea, now just have to finish working out the pieces. But I’ll do that once I get home from practice tonight I’m off to enjoy this sun and being on the water.
