A lazy Sunday is just what I need to have today after being on the go none stop for the last few days. I barely did anything today even though I wanted to do some stuff for work and make something for Dez which would be used on the forum that her and Aidan run but it will have to wait.. If you are in online communities you should check out this sweet ass forum.

I took the advice of my cats and took a very long and need 5 hour cat nap. Now hopefully I can fall a sleep

Days like today where I wish I didn’t have to take work home with me, but because the paperwork I have and the maps that go along with the routes don’t add up.. So it’s my job to find out why.. (I’m blaming the people who use to work there before me)

I wish there were more hours in the day, as when I got home from dinner I went straight into working on work stuff and just finished, would have rather ran on the treadmill instead.

It’s been a while since I did a picture post so I thought why not…

- When I found out I was moving two years ago and the house was going to be torn down, I went around and dug up all my bulbs that I could and I replanted them at my new place.

This past Monday as I was meeting up with a friend for dinner, my car finally rolled over the 100000KM mark. Which is kind of funny since my car is a 2000 Toyota Echo; though I purchased it for work in December 2005 at that time it only had about 50000 KM on it.

I wouldn’t say this was a great year or one of the worse years but just has had a lot of up and downs. I’m not sure about you but I am looking forward to 2010 and spending this new decade in my 30′s. That’s right I will be 30 in 42 days, I’m not really counting (I only know that because of the Olympic count down clock… sorry to say BUT it was a waste of tax payers mola)

Hope everyone had a great time with their families over the holidays. Vancouver had a foggy Christmas this year which was nice because it was not snow however driving around in very thick fog is not fun. But at the same time I would have loved to have made some extra cash shoveling the 30 driveways on my street.

Christmas is not really my favourite holiday (Halloween is) as everyone is so stressed trying to find the perfect gift but I still enjoy it because its spending time with loved ones. I got a few things I asked for and a new fondue set (from my 2 year old) which will be used on New Years Eve. Because I have a huge family, we ate like there was no tomorrow.

I don’t think I would want to see another holiday fest for a very long time. The 5 day Christmas Fest started off at my Dad’s when my brother and I went over there to see him and his side of the family on the 23rd, Christmas Eve was spent at my best friends, Christmas Day spent at my Moms, Boxing Day was at my Aunts for dinner with the whole family clan and the 27th was at another family members place. If you had to pick just one present this year to be on your list, what would it be?
For me I’d like to find a job that wasn’t a pay cut (I’m use to $15-20/h not min wage) and something more set in stone when I’m working not this we will call you when your need.

Not sure about you but autumn finally arrived to Vancouver on Tuesday by having a major rain storm. Thankfully out where I am, I did not see the same amount of rain compared to the people who live/work in the downtown core. The picture below was taken when I went out for my mid day walk, thankfully it wasn’t raining to hard at that point.

With the wacky winter and long heatwave summer that we’ve had, I’m really curious what autumn has planned for us this year. Thankfully I was able to winterize my garden last week before the rain came and made a family classic beef stew with the potatoes and carrots we had in the garden.

I’m looking forward to when the leafs on the trees start turning colours and and falling. But I’m not looking forward to raking up the fallen leafs.
