For me, I think mine would be another comments for a cause instead of one of them this year, maybe raise money for two different charities that mean a lot to me.

Mine was just interesting to say the lease. It starts off, when I was walking to work at 9:30PM. I jarred my ankle about 3 times walking on sidewalks that were not shoveled. When I finally got to work, I was the 1st one there so I defrosted myself by sitting under the huge heater in the back of the store. One of my co-workers didn’t show so the two of us who did, had to face the whole store, fill all the empty shelves. It seems like the day staff doesn’t do crap load of anything.

On the way home from work, I noticed there hasn’t been any snow forts or snowman built at all in this area at all, I’m just surprised as I live near another elementary school [k - grade 7]. My old neck of the woods, every house would have something built on their front yards. I dunno. Aidan came up with a great idea and I might take it from her if we get more snow next year. To purchase a snow blower and go around the neighbourhood earning some extra cash. Heck if I’m walking on those sidewalks I wanna make sure that I’m gonna be safe (and others to)

Anyways my new years day I met up with some people for breakfast and came home and slept til 7pm then had some food and fell a sleep watching TV until 2AM. (thankfully I didn’t work tonight)

Now that the hoildays are over there .. as of Janurary 2nd [today] there are only 44 more days until Valentines Day .. the day of hell for all singles. I only know that cause my birthday will be here in 40 more sleeps LOL.

I’m bringing in the new years a tad different this year, kind of looking forward being stuck at work making time and a half. With the new year comes a new yearly budget , doing a mega cleaning around the place, and resolutions that never work. For me instead of resolutions I make goals and so far each year I’ve been able to finish each goal.

Not sure what it is, but whenever you receive a present days after christmas and or your birthday, it some how always becomes your favourite. Well Tuesday (yesterday) I received some photos of the lil one that taken back in October when she was 15 months. Lets just say my heart melted when I saw one picture and she looks so much like my late grams. With that being said, I’m SO glad she does not look like my ex at all. She’ll have his height but hopefully that’s all.

I really enjoyed how small and relaxing the day was. We are having our family/friends gathering (err lunch) on Saturday as we didn’t chance doing anything last night for dinner. Being snowed in was nice.

Now that the christmas hub-bub is over for another year, I can rejoice. I grew up listening to christmas music from December 1st to December 25th but now when I hear it I just want to scream. Working in retail setting all these years, I hear the same songs over and over again. Why can’t they just spend the extra money and make a tape (or whatever) of christmas music that will loop every 16 or so hours instead of 4 hours. Plus there is only so many times you can listen to the same song being played by a different artist.

For me: I have asked for this in the past and I still ask for it, is to become a adoptive parent to an wild animal say from wwf.org.
