2012 FIBT: Bobsleigh & Skeleton World Cup – Whistler

The 2012 FIBT Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Cup was just in Whistler (Feb 2-4), the third last stop of the 2011/2012 season. I was lucky enough to spare sometime and head up to Whistler to volunteer at the event.

This event also had a few debuts of a few athletes who moved up to the drivers seat like Cory Butner (USA), Nick Cunningham (USA), and Canada’s own Justin Kripps.

One thing I have noticed over the years of watching the sport on TV is that where ever the event is being held, the locals will cheer on every country like it’s their own. Whistler did have a loud cheering squad which was awesome and just being there seeing the races live just made it more amazing!

Do I really have to…..

I don’t get it! Why should I need to sign up for username on an commenting system/networking site (whatever you wanna call it), just so I can come back and comment on your site? Is it to control who’s leaving comments or is it a numbers game? To me it is more of annoyance. :angry:

What is wrong with the simple already user-friendly comment code that is in your blogging platform (ie. wordpress/blogger) already.
