It’s been 27 days since my surgery and today was the 1st time I really looked at my belly button wounds (I have 2 cuts instead of the 1 your expose to have). Early on I thought I had some of the cotton bandage stuck in one of the wounds as it was scabbing over, I pulled on it not knowing what it was and you guessed it it hurt like hell. It’s part a thread they used to stitch me up is just hanging out of the wound. So now I have to wait for it to dissolve cause I’m to nervous to cut it off. I’m glad I don’t have anything weird like a glove or anything else in me from the surgery.
Like the title says, I have a weird fetish for belly buttons, I just like looking at them. The post baby belly buttons and or the weight loss ones have more of a character then those of someone who hasn’t had a child or struggled with weight. Though I do miss the dimple I had above my belly button that I last saw when I was pregnant
None gross note: I’ve started walking anywhere from 2 to 5 miles a day. Since the weather is getting better, walking is free and easy to do (living in a hilly area is a bonus), I’ve noticed more of my clothes can’t fit right.
Err, make that hunting for a new job…
I lasted until my birthday before I quit the job I started back in November. I just could not handle the pigs that I worked with (I can handle some manly BS but those guys were just UGH!), or the part where you gave the store what days you can work for 3 months and yet they give you a next week schedule on the Thursday, so I had to come in on my day off to see when I was working. The part that really pissed me off since day 1 was I said I couldn’t work Saturdays and I was always put down to work.
Filling out application forms today and the wage question always gets me, cause I’ve never could understood why companies ask you how much your wage should be. How would I know how much the job is worth or am I worth? As a coach or at a real job, I don’t have a set price what I want to be paid per hour/per session). But if I was to say run a few paddling camps thought the summer that should be one price (set by the club) and if I coached a team then that should be another price (set by the team not the coach). Some coaches only want their set amount instead of different wages for different events.. not a lot of teams can afford a coach from $25 – $100+ per session. But at the same time I don’t want to go back anything under $11/hour… unless I really have to.
Just submitted a lot more resumes today, hopefully I hear back from at least one.
