New Place

Whoa, this has been the first day since I last posted that I’ve been online for more then a few minutes to check my emails as I’ve been working none stop… Anyways I found a place a nice quiet place. I really do like it even though its mostly an open floor plan (not much of a fan of them but oh well), I think the bathroom was an after thought when they were building the place. The shower stall is very small for my comfort. So I’m hoping before the end of the year to change the shower into a walk in shower since there a lot of empty wasted space in that bathroom.

Furniture shopping for this new place will be fun since I’ve always had to share a place with someone it wasn’t always everyones choice in furniture or what not. Now its all mine muhahaha. Once I move into the place, I’ll be hitting up some of the second hand stores as well other furniture stores to see what they all have and what can I get for a good deal that would work for the common area (living/dining/galley kitchen area).

I’m narked though, months back I saw in target and also in sears a bedding style I like, blue/green plaid and now when I have the chance to get it of course neither store are selling it anymore. If I knew I was gonna be moving months ago, I would have purchased the king size bedding that I need for the bedroom suite that been in my family now for 5 generations. But of course who thinks of that? Yesterday after work I was in a weird surfing mood and found two nice plaid print bedding on jcpenny’s and kohls website which means I gotta go state side but whatever (my two homes away from home Seattle and Indianapolis) or take a blind leap and order the bedding I saw from Scotland but its flannel, I’d rather have flannel pj bottoms then bedsheets. Its really hard to find plaid bedding in either blue/green or either a nice solid colour blue or green these days.. ugh

Walking on water

Ducks Gonna miss these two! For the last couple of years these two ducks have been coming by swimming in the pool making their mess on the pool deck and not in the pool. Thankfully they don’t swim when we do. Yesterday I was feeling a bit better and I was doing some yard work and they came by and wanted to go swimming but couldn’t since the pool cover was on but it was funny to see them walking on the pool cover and trying to find the areas that have little water pockets..

I hope I feel better on Tuesday, as I’m going to be looking at 7 places. Moving to a new town is gonna have its ups and downs. But from what I’ve noticed from googling around, a few gyms and some interesting restaurants that I’m wanting to try, gotta try everywhere at least once before I make up my mind Though I’m still about an hour to get to where I’ve been practicing for the last 14 years but there is a paddling center closer to were I’m moving to so maybe I’ll switch over to there next season but we’ll see.. ring

On Friday I finally found the ring I’ve been looking for the last while. I know it, doesn’t match either mine or my lil ones bith stones as they didn’t any of my stones in that size and their ruby’s looked like red glass. So I went with the way the the band looked.. a nice simple wave and it’s something that I can give to her that doesn’t look to cheap when she’s 16. Just like the ring I got from my mom when I was 16. I got 16 years to decide if I want to leave in the pink tourmaline gems or change them to ruby. Time will tell. Out of all the rings I own this is the most girly one I own.
