C4AC #3 – Wow!

Comment for a Cause (C4AC)
is back for it’s 3rd year. C4AC is my way to raises funds & awareness. This year I’ve picked Right to Play as my charity of choice. Each comment this site gets equals $1 that I will be donating at the end of the month.. Don’t forget to keep up to date by subscribing to my rss feed

Wow! I can’t believe that Comment for a Cause will be ending shortly for another year.

Thank you to Caity, Dez and Lizzy who have been commenting on EVERY post. Without these 3 lovely ladies I wouldn’t be doing this and Right to Play wouldn’t be getting a nice size donation from my own pocket in May. As it stands right now I’ll be donating $110 dollars, but if you can please spend a couple minutes and comment on either all or just a few back posts and help this charity out.

I wish I was counting how many ip hits I get per day (get about 50+ a day) but I’m not I’m counting how many comments I get though the month, and I’m tired of you lurkers who see that someone mentioned that they wrote a new post via twitter so you come over and take a look and leave again. I’m sorry but if you take the time to visit a site you should take your time and comment as well. /End rant

Where should Comment for a Cause donate to next year?

Today was my clubs / areas 1st regatta of the season.. It was great fun but for the rain, rain and more rain that happened all day. No matter how many changes of clothes you bring or what your always gonna be feeling cold and damp.

I do have to say I’m VERY pleased with the club I paddle with each boat came home with a medal :hyper2: … Our most competitive team came home with a bronze in the A Final, our Youth team came home with a silver in the B Final (they were the only youth team there too) and the boat I was paddling on placed took home another bronze in the C Final. Which is freaking awesome with a boat full of newbies and 9 returning paddlers.

Wasn’t pleased when the zipper tag thingie on my pfd broke off (the pfd is 6 years old though) and before the 3rd race of the day one of my contacts popped out, thankfully I had extras in my bag but putting it back in without a mirror not fun. :blah:

Hope everyone had a great Saturday!!!
