C4AC#3 – Guest Blogger Interview

Comment for a Cause (C4AC) is back for it’s 3rd year. C4AC is my way to raises funds & awareness. This year I’ve picked Right to Play as my charity of choice. Each comment this site gets equals $1 that I will be donating at the end of the month.. Don’t forget to keep up to date by subscribing to my rss feed

I’ve known Kimm for a few years now so when she asked me to be a guest blogger I was stoked. Sadly, I have a lack of inspiration on what to write about. I’m lame like that but since I didn’t want to let her down I decided what could be better than giving her a simple interview. Since I don’t know much background on her project I hope that her answers to my questions will help anyone reading understand it a bit better. WAIT! There is more to read… read on »

Happy Birthday Kimm!

She’s becoming an old lady…30! Never would’ve thought that number would be so soon so quickly.

Kari and Kimm back in 2005

Kimm and I met back in 2002-ish when I was still active with comp-licated.org. I cannot remember how we found each other to be honest but it doesn’t matter b/c ever since we started commenting on each others posts then lead to either Yahoo or MSN msgr w/webcam it was like we knew each other forever! In 2005, I was to get married to my now husband, Jon, and Kimm wanted to come to Indiana for the wedding. She definitely won the award for the most miles traveled for a wedding in my book. Jon and I discussed what we could do since she came from such a far distance, so I made the gamble by having her participate in the wedding. Mind you, we knew each other since 2002, but never met in person until 5 days prior of my wedding. I got a lot of weird comments about allowing someone I met from the internet in a wedding party and whatnot but in my view, they didn’t know the entire story.  I would have never taken back this decision in the world! Since 2005, Kimm has came into town for Thanksgiving or any other special occasion of that particular year: 2005-06, Thanksgiving; 2007, Joy’s wedding; 2008, my Grandpa’s funeral; and in 2009: Thanksgiving.  She’s seen my ups and downs as have I have seen hers.

Kari and Kimm in 2008

Kimm is a wonderful person and I wouldn’t give her up for anything in this world. I do owe her a crap ton of visits to Canada, and I do need to get a tattoo with her since I did help her with her first one. In closing, girl I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to Vancouver for your 30th, but you know how the money is these days (years…idk :died: ) but once I become finally stable, Woody and I will make it up there…PROMISE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WITH MUCH LOVE!
