Halloween 2011

Hope everyone had a great Halloween/weekend, I sure did even though I didn’t go to any Halloween parties this year like my best friend and I do every year but she wasn’t feeling to great and I heard about another one half way though the night, I just stayed in for the night. Which gave me a chance to do some finishing touches to this new layout.

Some of the highlights of the night were:
- Everyone who walked along my street all stopped and looked at my yard display (yay)
- A tot who came to the door with his older sister (who was maybe 5yo), the tot could only say “tricker or tricker” and the sister was no it’s “trick or treat”. It was cute!
- Over hearing some of the kids mention to their parents after coming to the door was “She has purple hair (insert mommy or daddy)”

New Halloween Layout

In all these years that PGN has been around, I’ve never really done a holiday/season related layout and for the last while, I have been thinking about if I wanted a new layout for PGN as I’m going away in December for basically the whole month. So I have been playing around with ideas of do I want to have a layout/theme that matches where I’m going or just do something else that doesn’t look tacky 6 plus months down the road.

On Wednesday, I came up with this new layout theme … well I tweaked the coding of the last layout a bit as I liked how simple and clean it looks… I didn’t have the time to make it public it until this morning. Yay for days off!

Now to figure out what layout theme to put up November 1st.
