A Midwest Wedding and Thanksgiving

Since getting back from my friends wedding/Thanksgiving trip, I really haven’t had a chance all week to sit down and write about this little adventure (Been to focused on homework lately)

When flying this time of year, you always prepare for the worse ie: bad weather, but not a two hour delay because of a crew member is sick and were they have to fly someone else in. Thankfully the airline found me another connect flight through Dallas. I always forget how far their blue sky goes on forever.

Once I finally landed in Indy, I got picked up by Fil, a friend of mine who I haven’t seen in years, it was great catching up with him and we met up with Kari whom I was staying with.

The wedding was amazing, the flower girl and little ring bear did an incredible job and boy were they cute!

One thing I liked about this wedding was, they didn’t want presents so they asked for everyone to donate to a charity as well all the money they raised from the dollar dance went to another charity.

Thanksgiving this year was nice and simple, just the way I like it and with a lot of leftovers. Sometimes I do feel spoiled that I get two thanksgivings a year (Canadians celebrate it in October and America celebrates there in November)

Have you ever been delayed/stayed the night at the airport?
